Pastor Justin
Testimony
I didn’t grow up going to church regularly, but everything changed in middle school when a local church outreach team shared the gospel with me. That night, I gave my life to Christ—and I’ve never been the same. From the beginning, God gave me a deep conviction that the gospel is not something we admire from a distance; it’s something we believe, live, and share.
I’m a Texan—born and raised—and the Lord has used my story to form a clear calling: to help ignite the church to act now on the Great Commission through personal evangelism. I’m convinced this isn’t a special assignment for the confident or the trained; it’s the normal life of a disciple. My heartbeat is to build a culture where believers stop waiting for the “right time,” stop outsourcing evangelism to the professionals, and start speaking the good news of Jesus clearly to the people God has already placed in their everyday lives.
Over the years, that passion has shaped every role I’ve served in—worship leader, youth pastor, and education pastor. I taught myself piano and began leading worship early on, but my focus kept expanding beyond the platform to what happens in the lives of people Monday through Saturday: discipleship, obedience, and mission. Whether I’m preaching, developing leaders, or walking with people through real-life struggles, my goal is the same—help people love Jesus more, grow in His Word, and take personal responsibility for making disciples.
To deepen my ability to handle Scripture faithfully and equip the church with clarity and conviction, I pursued formal theological training through the M.Div. program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I want my ministry to be rooted in the Word, shaped by the gospel, and aimed at raising up believers who are steady in truth and ready to live on mission.
Along the way, I’ve also enjoyed using technology as a practical tool in service of ministry—especially when it helps remove distractions and increase clarity so the church can stay focused on what matters most. I’m grateful for every way God has allowed me to serve, but the core passion remains unchanged: to see the church awakened to the urgency of the gospel and equipped to obey Jesus now.
